Creation is just as much interpretation as it is discovery, and Meghan is on a never-ending quest to unearth something new. A writer by trade, she is compelled by a constant desire to tell stories. An early fondness for books found her tucked into hidden corners, dissolving into the worlds on pages before her. While studying literature in college, she fell in love with the Modernists and the ability of words to devise and destroy. She likes to think that reading—and writing about reading—taught her to shape character, preserve imagination, and advocate for the absurd.
After college, she worked in the linen-lined trenches of luxury hospitality for over eight years and discovered a passion for designing experiences—evoking sentiment through experience and anticipating the emotional needs of others. A penchant for artistry and entertainment, coupled with a few years freelancing as copywriter, led Meghan right to brand storytelling. MMK Creative was born and the rest, as they say, is already written.
In the future: I’ll still be reading books with pages stained by time and old libraries, dancing with the robots who manage the record collections of old railroad tycoons.
